Muddy Boots Returns Policy

At Muddy Boots, we’re passionate about bringing you thoughtfully curated products, and we want you to be delighted with your purchase. As a small, independent business, we unfortunately cannot afford to cover return shipping costs unless we are at fault (e.g., you received the wrong item or a defective product). In such cases, we will happily cover the return shipping to make things right.

We offer a 30-day return policy, giving you 30 days from the date you receive your item to request a return.


Eligibility for Returns

To qualify for a return:

  • The item must be in the same condition as when you received it—unworn, unused, with tags, and in its original packaging.
  • You will need to provide the receipt or proof of purchase.

Please note: Final sale items are not accepted for returns, and customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our mistake (e.g., wrong item sent). There are no restocking fees for returns.


How to Start a Return

To initiate a return:

  1. Email us at hello@muddybootshome.com with your order details and reason for return.
  2. Once your return request is approved, we will guide you through the next steps.

Important: Items sent back to us without prior authorization will not be accepted.


Damages, Issues, and Incorrect Items

We ask that you inspect your order upon receipt. If you find that an item is damaged, defective, or if you’ve received the wrong item, please contact us immediately so we can resolve the issue as quickly as possible. For errors on our part, we will cover the cost of return shipping.


Exceptions & Non-Returnable Items

Certain items are not eligible for returns, including:

  • Custom products, such as personalized or special-order items.
  • Personal care goods (e.g., beauty products).
  • Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases.

Additionally, sale items and gift cards are non-returnable.

Exchanges

The quickest way to get the item you want is to:

  1. Return your current item (subject to approval).
  2. Place a new order for the desired product.

Once the return is received and approved, you’ll be refunded as per our refund policy.


Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome. If your return is approved:

  • You’ll be refunded to your original payment method.
  • Please note that it may take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
